Question 1

Is the resume optimizer really free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The CRLN resume optimizer is completely free and unlimited: unlimited optimizations, full ATS scoring, job-description targeting, the recruiter verdict, and a downloadable .docx, all at no cost. There is no paid tier anywhere in CRLN. The CRLN Pro training membership was retired in August 2026.

Question 2

Which clinical research roles does this support?

Accepted Answer

Any role in the clinical research industry: site-based (CRC, Lead CRC, Research Nurse, Site Manager), monitoring (CRA I/II/Sr, Lead CRA, In-house CRA, RBM), trial operations (CTA, CTM, Clinical Operations), data management, biostatistics, regulatory, safety/pharmacovigilance, medical writing, and quality.

Question 3

Will employers know I used AI?

Accepted Answer

No. Output is written in natural, human clinical-research voice, with no telltale AI phrasing, no generic buzzwords, and no em-dashes everywhere. We rewrite using language hiring managers and ATS systems expect.

Question 4

Is my resume data stored or used to train AI?

Accepted Answer

Your resume is never used to train AI models. It is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, under API terms that do not permit training on submitted content. The full resume text is not saved to our database unless you turn on Keep my resume on file, which is off by default; each run saves your score and a structured summary of your background to your account.

Question 5

Do I need to create an account?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A free account lets us save your preferences and region so results stay relevant. You can sign in instantly with Google or via a passwordless magic link (no password to remember). There is never any charge for the optimizer.

Question 6

Will it work for international candidates?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We benchmark against global hiring standards across North America, EU, UK, LATAM, APAC, MENA, and Africa, including regional regulators (FDA, EMA, MHRA, ANVISA, NMPA, CDSCO, SAHPRA, PMDA).

Question 7

What file formats do you accept?

Accepted Answer

Upload a .pdf, .docx, or .txt file, or paste your resume text directly. Output is delivered as a clean, ATS-friendly .docx you can edit further in Word, Google Docs, or Pages.

Question 8

Can I get a refund?

Accepted Answer

The resume optimizer is free, so there is nothing to refund. Nothing on CRLN is billed today and there is no paid tier. The CRLN Pro training membership was retired in August 2026; if you were previously charged for it, email Jwebber@crln-learn.com.
